Programme Note

To mark the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth, the London Oriana Choir and leading British soloists join forces for a celebration of some of the most rousing of Beethoven's choral settings including his Mass in C Major.

Complementing this anniversary year, the choir's five15 women composers' initiative also sees the world première of Picture Frame, a new commission from composer-in-residence Anna Disley-Simpson.
