The orchestra, conducted by Dario Peluso, will play the world premier of Spear’s piece Serious Music, in which live instrumentation seamlessly integrates with spoken word samples and recordings. Oyarzabal will perform Shostakovich Piano Concerto No. 2 in F Major. The orchestra will also play several excerpts from Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet Suites 1 and 2.
