Programme Note

The sound of the cello is both beautiful and inherently vocal. Composers throught the years, have revelled in exploring the colours of this wonderful instrument, from the rich and melodious to the frivolous and exciting. We celebrate the vocal natureof the cello by combining it with the intimate charm of an A Capella choir, in a programme spanning over 400 years.
