Programme Note

Composer Matthew Coleridge conducts a performance of his acclaimed REQUIEM - hailed by the late Sir Neville Marriner as "a valuable addition to the 21st century choral repertoire". Composed in 2015, the piece is a beautiful and deeply moving work for choir and solo cello, blending elements of medieval music with shimmering, modern harmonies.
This performance is the culmination of an all-day workshop, featuring choral singers from Hampshire and beyond.
