About Christina Lawrie
Hailed as a “rising star” by International Piano magazine, Christina Lawrie has earned acclaim for her expressive depth and refined technique. She has appeared live on BBC Radio 3 and Radio Scotland, performed the Grieg Piano Concerto with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and given recitals at leading venues including Wigmore Hall, the Southbank Centre, and Cheltenham Music Festival.
Her acclaimed solo recordings feature works by Brahms, Rachmaninov, and Carl Vine, and her performances have taken her across the British Isles—from the Orkney Islands to the Channel Islands. Christina is also one half of the Sutherland Duo, alongside violinist Harriet Mackenzie, with whom she has recorded an album of works by Grieg, Prokofiev, and Tchaikovsky.
