With this in mind Churchill Music! invited the the Epiphoni consort, led by a former member of Exultate, Tim Reader, to bring their unique programme of Advent and Christmas music to Churchill. Described as a “winning formula” by a concert promoter, and greeted with a standing ovation at the annual Cliveden House Christmas dinner, the programme is a blend of the meditative and infectiously uplifting, with an atmospheric backdrop of candlelight and the mellifluous tones of Kate Watt’s harp. Programme includes Britten’s ever-popular Ceremony of Carols for upper voice chorus, soloists and harp. And music by Howells, Byrd, Panufnik, Warlock and many more Guaranteed to open even the creakiest doors of hope and with our traditional festive refreshments, this is a sure fire winning formula.
