Imagine no more, as tonight's special collaboration is all about how wine and music make us feel. For one night only, we are teaming up with professional local music group Damask Duo to bring you an evening of wine and live music. Pianist Sarah Kershaw and flute player Rosie Reed have a wealth of live experience in venues like the Barbican and Royal Festival Hall, as well as on festival stages across the world. Together we have created a programme of music and wine that complement each other, including riesling with Bach, Burgundy with Debussy, and malbec with the South American tango of Piazzola. This event takes place in the beautiful surroundings of St John's Church at the top of the High Road. Proceedings start with an aperitif at 7.15pm. The evening includes plenty of cheese and charcuterie, eight delicious wines and eight great pieces of music. Bookings are exclusively through Theatre of Wine. Note: early arrivals are invited for a sunset tour up the church tower at 6.30pm – space is limited so please let us know if you would like to join in.
