Soloists Maria Danishvar soprano, Marie Elliott alto, Matthew Bawden tenor and Thomas Humphreys bass join with the choir in this most brilliant of works. Written in 1863 this highly romantic work is something of a misnomer since it is neither small nor solemn but instead is a riot of catchy melodies as well as some really moving moments.
