Nos Miseri Homines
Programme Note
Nos Miseri Homines - an ensemble of outstanding young singers - return to Chichester to present some of the finest music for Advent and the build up to Christmas. Works by Byrd, Taverner and Gibbons; through Brahms and Stainer; and into the modern day with Joubert , Weir, MacMillan and Head, there will be something to kick off everybody's preparations for Christmas.
Nos Miseri Homines was founded in 2013 by a group of choral scholars and lay clerks at Christ Church, Oxford. The singers, who perform one on each part, are hand-picked from Chichester and Winchester Cathedrals, London Colleges and Consorts, and Oxford, to create the thrilling blend and intimate style of performance that has been attracting attention and delighting audiences.
