“American Choral Reflections” brings together choral works influenced by the American musical landscape - its faith, its folk traditions, and its gift for heartfelt expression. Musical Director Ben de Souza has chosen a programme which includes works by Stephen Paulus, Aaron Copland, Eric Whitacre, Ola Gjeilo and works shaped by spirituals and folk song. Soprano soloist Elisabeth Cullen will be performing works by George Gershwin and Samuel Barber.
