Programme Note

Summer is icumen in and the third instalment of our popular MIXTAPE series is an enchanted evening of music for clarinet, viola and piano, played by the multi-award-winning Jacquin Trio.

Coulsdon Music regulars Charis and Kay are joined by their long-time partner in crime, Jessie Grimes for a night of musical fairytales in three acts: ancient woodland and May songs, fairground magic and whimsy, and finally the towering romance of Brahms' Clarinet Trio. Music by Schumann, Libby Larsen, Tabakova and Françaix — plus a few original surprises!

Bright green poster for FABLE, the latest Mixtape concert in Coulsdon Music's series
