Programme Note

The Bloomsbury Woodwind Ensemble will present a chronological programme of music from the itinerant Ballets Russes company. Impresario Sergei Diaghilev commissioned some of the foremost composers to write music until his death in 1929. The programme will include a concert performance of Constant Lambert’s long forgotten but charming score Romeo and Juliet.

Venue access

There is an external ramp leading to the front door of the church. The front door will be open. The main church hall, where the concert audience will be seated, is all on the ground floor, so there will be no need to use stairs to get to your seats. There is a ramp which can be used to get to the toilets, which are through the vestry. There is a disabled toilet.

This is the BWE 2016 charity concert in support of
Mind in Tower Hamlets and Newham.
