Programme Note
Weymouth Choral Society, under Musical Director Helen Brind, is proud to present its annual Christmas concert, to be held at St John’s Church, Greenhill, Weymouth, DT4 7SS. We are thrilled to be joined this year by the wonderful and enthusiastic local orchestra, Dorset Sinfonia. The orchestra, conducted by David Ansell and led by Rachel Greenwood, will accompany the Society for several of their choral items and also play a selection of instrumental pieces. We promise you a packed programme of seasonal items and holiday treats, as well as the ever-popular selection of congregational carols. The programme will bring an evening of great variety and different musical styles as we share with you the contemplative and celebratory aspects of the Christmas season.
