Programme Note

Two favourite works of the classical repertoire, accompanied by two lesser-known pieces with local connections: Holst spent time in Kingsdown in the summer of 1925, while Susan Spain-Dunk was born in Folkestone and dedicated various works to local themes, including Kentish Downs (1926).

The concert is in aid of Red Zebra Community Solutions, a local charity.
