Programme Note

Unique concert marking the 50th anniversary of Zoltán Kodály's death, and celebrating 50 years since the introduction to Britain of his approach to music education by by Cecilia Vajda. Features a range of folk songs and choral pieces performed by over 200 children, and the world premiere of A Tree of Song, a specially commissioned piece by Bob Chilcott.
