Premiered at Walt Disney Concert Hall with the Los Angeles Master Chorale in February, this 12-movement work written with poet/lyricist and long-time collaborator, Charles Anthony Silvestri, tells the true story of love, loss, grief and the search for solace. The Sacred Veil received unprecedented acclaim from the media, concert-goers and the artists following the premiere, and is Whitacre's most extensive choral work to date. Eric Whitacre and Charles Anthony Silvestri will participate in a pre-concert talk before each performance. The concerts will open with two of Eric Whitacre's most loved works, Lux Aurumque and Leonardo Dreams of his Flying Machine. Please note that there is a pre-concert talk at 6.30pm. Eric will also lead a choral workshop on the afternoon of Saturday 26th October. Tickets must be purchased from the venue. *VIP Tickets include exclusive access to rehearsal, a private meet-and-greet with Charles Anthony Silvestri, a signed programme and priority seating for the pre-concert talk and concert.
