Programme Note
Ludlow English Song Weekend returns with live concerts over 29/30 Octoberl 2021. We are confident that, barring draconian new restrictions, we can all be safe, hygienic and comfortable in the wide open spaces of St Laurence’s Church. No zooming, no streaming. Socially distanced audiences in the Cathedral of the Marches, cheering on live performances.
Roddy Williams and Iain Burnside begin in style with an opening recital that showcases the best of English Song and will enable us to get underway with a unique and yet familiar programme from our favourite pair of collaborators.
This is the first in a series of five main recitals over the two days - the full programme can be seen here on classicalevents.co.uk or on our website Ludlow English Song Weekend
Please note that in order to maintain a socially distanced audience layout, ticket numbers are capped. Festival passes (both days or Saturday only) are on sale at the moment. Individual concert tickets will go on sale from February ONLY if there are seats left. To allow seat allocations per 'bubbles', online ticket sales will close once the maximum number has been reached and there will be no 'at the door' sales. Tickets are refundable under the conditions on our website.
