Programme Note
Brighton-based pianist, Johan de Cock, presents a lunchtime concert at the Guild Church of St Martin-within-Ludgate, situated on Ludgate Hill, near St Paul's Cathedral. He will be performing Catalan works by Soler and Mompou, as well as a quirky middle-period sonata by Haydn, the two late romantic elegies by Liszt, and two new works by the American composer, R.A. Moulds. Entrance is free, with a retiring collection in aid of the upkeep of this historical Wren church. The recital will last approximately 50 minutes with no interval.
