Like an early version of the European Union, it promoted tolerance and respect towards different cultures, ensuring the survival of one of the most spectacular alliances in Western history. This concert brings together two European ensembles in a programme that represents music from each of the Hansa states in a journey through space and time. Composers include: Hieronymus Praetorius, Schütz, Byrd, Tallis and Sweelinck, as well as lesser known composers from smaller European countries. St Martin's Church, Brighton DD/MM/YYYYDetails
