Programme Note

The Gesualdo Six return to St Martin’s Church in Salisbury to give a concert of beautiful unaccompanied Christmas music on 9 December at 7.30pm. The concert will include works by Bach, Byrd and Howells, plus John Tavener's stunning setting, The Lamb. Local musician Joseph Wicks, who sang as a chorister in the cathedral choir, is the group’s first tenor. This concert forms part of The Gesualdo Six’s first Christmas Tour - catch the group live on BBC Radio 3 In Tune around 5pm on Thursday 8 December.

“The coolest vocal group around… revel in the gorgeous sounds, the spellbinding music, the programmes with something for everyone. Don’t miss them, I guarantee you’ll have the best evening ever” – John Rutter

Tickets are available online from Eventbrite, or on the door. Refreshments will be served during the interval.
