Programme Note

The Sacconi Quartet launches Wallingford’s season of chamber music concerts bringing us two works by composers central to the quartet genre, Shostakovich's C Minor Quartet and Beethoven's mighty A minor Quartet Op. 132. The concert will open with Heartfelt, a work in two movements by Roxanna Panufnik, commissioned by the Sacconis in 2019.
