Located in the heart of London, St Mary Le Strand is a hidden architectural gem. Designed by the great James Gibb, its exquisite baroque interior, soaring columns, and golden detailing create a magical setting that perfectly complements the romantic brilliance of Chopin’s music. Bathed in candlelight, the church becomes an atmospheric sanctuary for this intimate and powerful recital.

Warren Mailley-Smith is one of the UK’s most accomplished and in-demand concert pianists, performing over 150 times each year. In 2016, he became the first British pianist to perform the complete solo piano works of Chopin from memory in a landmark series of 11 recitals at St John’s Smith Square, an achievement hailed by critics as “epic.” He is set to repeat the acclaimed series in venues across the UK in the coming seasons. Warren has given solo recitals at prestigious venues including Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall, and has performed for the British Royal Family on numerous occasions. A passionate chamber musician, he is the Artistic Director of the Piccadilly Chamber Music Series and Founder and Artistic Director of The Piccadilly Sinfonietta. His career has taken him across the globe, with solo performances throughout Europe, Australia, China, and the USA. He boasts a concerto repertoire of over 40 piano concertos, having made his concerto debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Warren’s growing discography has been widely praised by critics, broadcasters, and the public. His recordings are regularly featured on Classic FM and BBC Radio, with several albums selected as Classic FM’s CD of the Week.
