The exceptional musicians of the Piccadilly Sinfonietta and some of the UK's leading singers will perform a dazzling selection of the world's greatest operatic repertoire. Set in the beautiful candlelit setting of St Mary Le Strand, London, it's a hugely appealing programme designed to help you celebrate the weekend in style! There are also a good choice of restaurants and bars nearby to complete your night out.

Since its formation in 2017, the Piccadilly Sinfonietta have become a regular feature on the UK concert scene, giving up to 100 performances a year in some of the country’s most beautiful and prestigious venues. The ensemble comprises some of the most prodigious musical talent and performs exclusively with leading virtuoso soloists. The group performs under the artistic direction of its founder, concert pianist Warren Mailley-Smith and focuses on the virtuoso concerto repertoire of the baroque, classical and early romantic periods.
Susan Parkes is an award winning opera singer who has sung many contrasting soprano roles internationally. She held a scholarship at the Royal College of Music for both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Opera roles include: Contessa (Le Nozze di Figaro), Cio Cio San, Kate Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Erste Dame (Die Zauberflöte), Fiordiligi (Cosi Fan Tutte), and many more. Highlights include performances at Sadler’s Wells, Bath International Festival, the Buxton Festival, Salzburg International Festival, the Lindbury Studio Covent Garden and tours in Europe, Hong Kong, Africa and Australia.
