Music that looks back to its national roots as well as being inspired by travel and adventure. The Festival, which was hailed by The Guardian newspaper as “One of the top ten classical music events of 2021” was the creation of Founder and Artistic Director, violist Lawrence Power. Lawrence Power was recently feted by the New York Times as "A Musician on a Mission to Make Us Pay Attention to the Viola" . He makes time in his incredibly busy career as an international soloist to return to the area where he was born and brought up to present these five concerts over three days with the most fantastic chamber music.
