3+2 - trio, duo, quintet

Add to my Calendar 10-01-2019 13:00 10-01-2019 15:00 36 Artisti con Brio Artisti con Brio was created with the aim of bringing together like-minded musicians who worked together in the past, in different orchestras and ensembles, and dreamt of playing together again and sharing their passion for music with each other and their audiences. The vision is to develop a platform where european-based musicians have the freedom and inspiration to explore music, try out their ideas and ultimately continue their never-ending development as musicians. Our commitment to excellency and to making live music available for everyone is in the very centre of what we do.Because of the range of work we do separately, and the different countries that we live in, when we meet, we know it will be an intensive period of work and a special and valuable one too, so we enjoy every moment of it and aim to express this in our performances. With an enourmous focus on chamber music, Artisti con Brio can be heard not only as a string ensemble but also in different chamber music set-ups, including duos (violin and piano, or 2 violins), string trios, quartets and, recently, quintet.Future commitments include a series of House Concerts in London, featuring a wide roster of London-based artists (2018), various chamber music concerts in the UK and Portugal and a return to the William Walton Foundation (Italy) in the summer of 2019.  St Mary's Church, Aylesbury DD/MM/YYYY

Programme Note

Artisti con Brio was created with the aim of bringing together like-minded musicians who worked together in the past, in different orchestras and ensembles, and dreamt of playing together again and sharing their passion for music with each other and their audiences.
The vision is to develop a platform where european-based musicians have the freedom and inspiration to explore music, try out their ideas and ultimately continue their never-ending development as musicians. Our commitment to excellency and to making live music available for everyone is in the very centre of what we do.
Because of the range of work we do separately, and the different countries that we live in, when we meet, we know it will be an intensive period of work and a special and valuable one too, so we enjoy every moment of it and aim to express this in our performances.
With an enourmous focus on chamber music, Artisti con Brio can be heard not only as a string ensemble but also in different chamber music set-ups, including duos (violin and piano, or 2 violins), string trios, quartets and, recently, quintet.
Future commitments include a series of House Concerts in London, featuring a wide roster of London-based artists (2018), various chamber music concerts in the UK and Portugal and a return to the William Walton Foundation (Italy) in the summer of 2019.
