Programme Note

Peregrine Orchestra, alongside some fantastic soloists, perform a programme full of joy, mystery, and emotion. Two works form the centrepiece of the programme - Vaughan Williams's Five Mystical Songs (Orlando Barton Hodges - Baritone), and Francis Poulenc's dramatic Organ Concerto (Richard Pinel - Organ). These two works are complimented by music from the same two countries: gorgeous flute music by Poulenc and Debussy (Becca Stanton - Flute; Daniel Collins - Piano), and Peter Warlock's dance-filled Capriol Suite.
