Programme Note

A summer's evening of uplifting music for chamber choir and harp in a historic village church, with sacred music spanning 400 years followed by folk songs from the British Isles and France in sparkling arrangements by Britten, Rutter and more.

Concert-goers may enjoy a free glass of wine at the interval. A portion of sales will support the upkeep of this historic, Grade 1 listed building.

Voxcetera is a London-based chamber choir which has performed in prestigious venues including St. Martin-in-the-fields and St. John Smith Square, as well as in Dublin, Edinburgh and further afield. Harpist Olivia Jageurs has has played at the Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall and Royal Festival Hall, and with orchestras including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, London Philharmonic Orchestra and The Hallé.
