Add to my Calendar 01-07-2023 19:30 01-07-2023 21:30 36 Hounslow Symphony Orchestra Summer concert Coming soon after the UK release of the biopic 'Chevalier', this concert gives prominence to the previously neglected composer and contemporary of Mozart, Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de St George. The three-movement overture to his opera "l'Amant anonyme" is a charming and elegant miniature for a small orchestra of oboes, horns and strings. The balance of this concert is preserved by placing Haydn's 'Clock' symphony, No 101, before the interval, with the second half having just one work - Beethoven's monumental violin concerto. Hounslow Symphony Orchestra is privileged to welcome virtuoso violinist Muriel Oberhofer as solist for this ever popular piece. St Mary's Church, London DD/MM/YYYYDetails
