Programme (Themes from):
London-based South Korean violinist Yoon is acclaimed for her versatility across classical, film, and live event performance. A scholarship recipient at both the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the Royal Academy of Music, she has built a dynamic career on some of the world’s most prestigious stages. Highlights include performing for HRH The King at Buckingham Palace and appearing at Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena for the internationally acclaimed ESL One. She is also an active studio musician, performing on major film and television soundtracks, most recently the Nosferatu remake starring Willem Dafoe.
Nurry Lee (Piano)
A South Korean–British concert pianist, Nurry is celebrated for her expressive artistry and international acclaim. Beginning piano studies at six under her mother's guidance, she won her first concerto competition at nine. Her education includes scholarships at Wells Cathedral School, the Royal College of Music (Milstein Award recipient), Korea National University of Arts, and the Royal Northern College of Music, where she earned first prize at the RNCM Chopin Competition. In 2023, she won the Piano House International Piano Competition, leading to her sold-out Carnegie Hall debut. Praised by Emanuel Ax as a “wonderful pianist,” Nurry has performed across Europe, the USA, Asia, and West Africa, including appearances on BBC Radio 3 with her trio, Trio Rouge. She is also a Kawai artist.
