This was originally written for and performed by the choir and orchestra of St Mary's School, Menston, West Yorkshire. That does not mean it is a simple or easy work. Richmondshire Choral Society has performed four movements from it previously in earlier concerts and feels that it is a work which deserves wider reognition.
