The concert series has been set up by Dr Angela Elizabeth Slater. The concert series will programme new works by composers Angela Elizabeth Slater, Gemma McGregor, Blair Boyd, Sarah Westwood and Carol J Jones, written for performers Késia Decoté (piano), Cassie Matthews (guitar), Sabina Virtosu (violin) and composer-performer Gemma Mcgregor (flute/shakuhachi). These new works will be performed alongside pieces by a number of historical women composers such as Morfydd Owen, Lily Boulanger, Clara Schumann and Amy Beach.
