The Chelmsford Singers, ably conducted by James Davy and accompanied by Sam Bristow, will be presenting their Christmas concert at St Michael’s Church, Galleywood, Chelmsford CM2 8PW at 7.30pm on Saturday the 16th of December. The concert will feature a variety of seasonal fare, including  a carol cantata by composer Cecilia McDowell, as well as old favourites from the Novello Book of Carols and items composed by and specially arranged by our conductor. The evening will also feature an organ recital and some suitably festive readings.  The concert will feature a variety of seasonal fare, including  a carol cantata by composer Cecilia McDowell, as well as old favourites and fresh arrangements including carols composed by and specially arranged by our conductor. The evening will also feature festive organ music and readings. Tickets are £15 adults and free for under 16s, and are available from chelmsfordsingers.co.uk,  from choir members or on the door.    Doors will open at 6.45pm and refreshments will be available from then and during the interval, as well as afterwards.     James Davy is the former Organist and Master of the Choristers at Chelmsford Cathedral and has been director of the Chelmsford Singers since 2012.
