Add to my Calendar 07-07-2019 16:00 07-07-2019 18:00 36 Summer Concert of Youth Thanet Light Orchestra return to St Nicholas-at-Wade Church for a charity concert of light music and popular classics.TLO will be performing several pieces connected with 'youth' (either in the title, or because the composer was young), and also welcoming talented young musicians to play with the orchestra.Cellist Shizuku Tatsuno is from Japan, where she won several awards before coming to the UK to study at The Yehudi Menuhin School. After graduating, she won a scholarship to the Royal College of Music, where she is currently studying under the tutelage of Raphael Wallfisch and Thomas Carroll. The Salomé Quartet, which she formed at the RCM, won the chamber music competition, and together they have given several recitals at top London venues, including recently at the Wigmore Hall.For more information call 01843 847701.
