Programme Note
To mark Saint Nicholas's Day and the end of the Nicolasfest week of celebrations, various groups will be combining to raise money for two charities associated with the saint: the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and The Children's Society.
Deal Hoodeners will be singing their trademark sea shanties; the Canterbury Handbell Ringers / Bedford Handbell Ensemble will be performing a variety of classical and other works on handbells; Thanet Thespians will perform some witty sketches and moving poems; and some young members of Ramsgate Operatic Society will reprise a song from their recent sell-out production of Fiddler on the Roof - one which has particular relevance to Saint Nicholas.
Most programme items will be announced on the day. Refreshments will be available.
