The Brighton Singers chamber choir numbers ca 35 singers and is directed here by Nicholas Houghton. The programme includes pieces across the centuries, from Gabrieli's Jubilate Deo (1597), via Buxtehude, Bruckner, Grieg and Lauridsen to Cecilia McDowell's setting of Ave Maris Stella (2001)
The concert features 2 settings of the medieval Marian hymn Ave Maris Stella and will end with Morten Lauridsen's Lux Aeterna.
