Add to my Calendar 04-02-2018 14:30 04-02-2018 16:30 36 Sunday Recital Series - Eleanor Ross (soprano) and John Cuthbert (piano) Soprano Eleanor Ross trained as an oboist at the Royal College of Music and the Norwegian Academy of Music, and then as a singer with Dennis O’Neill at the Wales International Academy of Voice. Eleanor was an ENO OperaWorks artist 2013-14, and now studies privately with Neil Baker. Notable solo engagements include the Villa-Lobos ‘Bachianas Brasileiras No.5’ at Cadogan Hall, Vivaldi’s ‘Gloria’ at St John’s Smith Square, ‘The Ultimate Opera Gala’ with Dame Kiri te Kanawa, Dennis O’Neill and the orchestra of Welsh National Opera, and a CD of Handel cantatas with Dame Ann Murray and The Amade Players. Recent opera roles include Konstanze (Die Entfuhrung aus dem Serail, Mozart) with Pop-Up Opera, Lili (Carina, AnsdellEvans) in workshop with English National Opera, Shepherd Boy in 'Tosca' and Alona in ‘Different’ by Llywelyn Ap Myrddin for English Touring Opera, and Cover Dalinda (Ariodante, Handel) for the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence. Future events include a recital of English Song and Brahms' 'Requiem', both at St Paul's Knightsbridge, and Handel's 'Messiah' at St John's Smith Square. St Paul's Church, London DD/MM/YYYY
