Programme Note

The St Cecilia Collective are proud to present a special performance of Edith Sitwell and William Walton’s eccentric and scintillating masterpiece, ‘Façade: An Entertainment’ to raise awareness for the Refugee Council.

This unique piece of music receives a rare performance in which the work will be performed with just one narrator, Rosalind Dobson, a scholar at London’s Royal College of Music.

Also on the programme is the world premiere of Dances, a short suite by prize-winning composer Richard Miller, who conducts this event.

A collection will be taken for the Refugee Council at the end of the concert.
