Also featuring Canteloube’s ‘Bailero’ from Songs of the Auvergne. The concert lasts an hour, perfect for a leisurely Sunday afternoon! Katie Gilbert and Sue Whittaker have been performing as a duo for over three years after meeting during their postgraduate studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. They combine a joyful ease of music making together with a desire to explore and show off the beautiful, flexible and varied voice and guitar repertoire. They have performed many recitals together both in Birmingham and the West Midlands and Northumberland. This is their first London engagement together, and they are very much looking forward to it!
