The Choir is delighted to see the return of the Brandenburg Sinfonia to accompany the choir and soloists and we look forward to presenting the Carus Edition of the work which faithfully restores the original English translation of the text accompanied by the orchestral reduction by Joe Hickman. We are in for an evening of musical treats; arresting orchestral overtures and interludes, solo arias which capture both the epic, and more humorous elements of the texts and resounding, uplifting choruses, which crown this masterpiece of the choral repertoire.
