Seraphim

Programme Note

This promises to be a fascinating concert in which the nine "sublime" upper voices of  Seraphim will perform music from the 12th century to the 21st century in the stunning setting of one of Suffolk's prettiest churches with its thatched roof and painted columns.  With special lighting by Jim Laws and joined by harp and flute, their performance will feature music by locally based and other living composers  - including two world premieres of music written for Seraphim by Elis Pehkonen and Jonathan Rutherford.  The Theberton bell-ringers will welcome the audience from 4.45 and refreshments will follow the concert.
