Programme Note
Oxford's contemporary voices are coming to Winchombe, with a scintillating repertoire of seasonal choral gems. Established in 1999, Commotio exist to bring to the fore works lost to the mainstream repertoire, and works by emerging composers. This concert draws together some of Commotio's favourite seasonal works, including the title track of their best-selling 2013 CD 'Rose in the Middle of Winter', which according to Gramophone Magazine "will make all but the hardest hearts swell with Christmas spirit."
Join Commotio for a fabulous evening of quality choral music, and perhaps one of the choir's legendary mince pies!
