Programme Note
Amadeus Chamber Orchestra are delighted to present a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the orchestra. We welcome Conductor Emeritus Simon Thompson for a wonderful programme, with guest conductor Sarah Devonald, formerly principal oboe, for the Mozart Wind Serenade. Our soloists for the Bach Brandenburg Concerto are our leader Jennifer Wigram (violin), our current principal flute Janna Hüneke, and we are welcoming back former principal flute Judith Bowman.
The concert will be preceded by a reception at 6.45pm when we welcome audience members to join us for a free drink before the concert.
