Barcarolle Choir

Programme Note

« A Festive Glow- Songs of the season »

 Barcarolle Choir together with their Musical Director, Sam Evans (http://www.samevansmusic.net), is delighted to present their next season concert.

As per tradition the performance will present a large variety of musical genres covering many centuries of compositions from the 16th century to our contemporary days.

The concert will feature Monteverdi, Tallis, Abba,  R. Lang, Edith Piaf and many more. Some traditional Christmas Carols will be performed and the audience will have opportunities to sing along.

 

Barcarolle Choir will be joined by the Baritone, Dominic Sedgwick, who performs widely as a soloist on both the concert and recital platforms (http://www.dominicsedgwick.com).

The choir will be accompanied by the talented Oliver Lallemant (http://trinitycollegechoir.com/organ/organ-music-evensong/oliver-lallemant/)

The evening will finish with shared drinks to celebrate all together this end of the year festivities.
