Vaughan Williams produced a 'Symphony by a Londoner' that evokes the chimes of Westminster, a bank holiday on Hampstead Heath, Bloomsbury Square on a cold November afternoon and the flaring lights of The Strand in his Symphony no 2. An evening of music inspired by London in one of London’s most beautiful churches. The Illyrian Ensemble will be conducted by their founder and artistic director, Benjamin James.
