This is part of our annual cycle, to be followed in March by a 'Sea theme' concert on March 28th including Elgar's Sea Pictures and Britten's Four Sea Interludes. Our summer concert in July will be an American Rhapsody, with a varied programme of American music including Gershwin's rhapsody in blue and Barber's Adagio for strings.
