The concert, entitled Either Side of "The Pond", takes place on Saturday 4 July 2026 at 7pm at Stratford-upon-Avon Methodist Church, Old Town, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6BG. The programme includes a special local connection: SPQR is by Guy Woolfenden, the much-loved composer who served as Music Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon for over three decades. Birmingham Symphonic Winds is an award-winning ensemble recognised as one of the UK's top Symphonic Wind Ensembles. The orchestra is a winner of Classic FM's Big Platinum Performance award and an National Concert Band Festival (NCBF) Platinum Award winner.
