Of course you have! Handel’s Messiah has always had a special place in the hearts of singers and audiences alike. Join Ipswich Choral Society and their Music Director Robin Walker for a special performance of Handel's great oratorio Messiah. Accompanied by professional period instrument ensemble Vivace! and wonderful young soloists from the Royal Academy of Music, it promises to be a truly amazing experience. Everyone is welcome, whether it's your first time trying a choir or you have lots of experience - it's all about having a great time singing together. The day begins with rehearsal time led by Robin Walker, ICS Music Director and well-known choral conductor, to prepare each choral piece and gain tips on how to sing well. After a break for tea, we will perform highlights from “Messiah” accompanied by our world-class players and soloists, all in the comfortable and modern surroundings of Suffolk One. We will use the Novello Edition of Messiah (ISBN 978-0-85360-211-8), edited by Watkins Shaw.  If you don't have your own score we can provide one for you. Unable to take part?
