Programme Note

Basingstoke Symphony Orchestra's Legendary Classics concert features an exciting programme where magic, mystery, drama and legends abound with Rossini’s Overture William Tell, Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite No.1, Saint Saens’ Danse Macabre and Walton’s Henry V Suite from the film.

And making a guest appearance with the BSO will be the dynamic and versatile young violin soloist Braimah Kanneh-Mason, one of a family of incredibly talented and gifted young musicians who recently starred in Classic FM's Film Concert at the Royal Albert Hall and who will be performing Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor with the orchestra.
