Programme Note
Join Wooburn Singers for their first Come and Sing of 2024: a day working on John Rutter's Feel the Spirit, a lively and joyful cycle of seven spirituals. The vivid and expressive arrangements showcase the rich heritage of the spiritual. The work brings new life to such well loved titles as Steal away, I got a robe, and When the saints go marching in.
Registration from 9:45am for 10:30 downbeat; run-through performance 4:30 pm (family & friends welcome); 5:00 pm finish
Tickets £20 (£15 for groups of 10+, students £5) including coffee/tea, and loan of score if required.
Ploughman’s Lunch option available for £7.50 (must be pre-booked and prepaid by 29th January)
