The orchestra will play extracts from Beethoven’s First Symphony, a medley from ‘Les Miserables’ and the overture to Rossini’s ‘Barber of Seville’. The programme also features a Strauss polka, music by Berlioz, von Suppé and some 20th- and 21st-century. Plus there will be performances by special guest players, Darlington Community Wind Band. The group’s repertoire ranges from traditional marches and hymns to film themes and show tunes.
